The Chamber of
Locust Grove is
located in the heart of Oklahoma's Green
Country, in Mayes County, along Scenic Highway
412 (East and West) at Highway 82 (North and
South), and is easily accessible from the
Cherokee Turnpike. Nestled
between the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and
the beautiful Hudson Lake, our community is well
known for attracting hunters, fishermen, and
water sports enthusiasts.
Just outside of Locust Grove is one of the
nations largest industrial parks where hundreds
of local residents are employed. Most
recently, Google opened a facility in the Mid
America Industrial Park.
We are a short drive from Amish country to the
west, the beautiful Ozark Mountains to the east,
Lake Tenkiller and Sequoyah State Park to the
south, and Lake Hudson and Grand Lake to the
Residents enjoy the close proximity to the
NSU-Tahlequah Campus, Rogers State College in
Pryor, Oklahoma State University (OSU) Extension
school in the Mid American Industrial
area. And just a short drive to Tulsa
avails our students to the Tulsa University (TU)
Campus, which boasts a leading law school, and
Oklahoma University (OU) campus.
Locust Grove is a family-friendly and relaxed
community where neighbors enjoy gathering on
Founders Day and other such occasions to catch
up with friends and neighbors.
